Important Update on Our Navigator Program

Due to changes in funding for the upcoming open enrollment cycle, Suwannee River AHEC’s navigator program will end its in-person assistance starting September 12th. Our team is still committed to helping those in the community get the help they need going forward.
Consumers can still use the Federal Marketplace’s call center to receive help throughout the year. The call center is open 24/7, except for holidays, and can help you enroll or re-enroll in a plan, report life changes, and answer questions regarding appeals and coverage.
For 2019, open enrollment will run from November 1-December 15, 2018. All plans selected and paid for during that time will begin on January 1, 2019. If you do not enroll in a plan during this time, you will not be able to do so until the next open enrollment unless you have a qualifying life event (i.e. getting married, having children, moving, etc.).
Suwannee River AHEC is still committed to improving the quality of life of our communities, and will continue to promote the Affordable Care Act’s Health Insurance Marketplace throughout the year.
